I'm working on Fran from FFXII for my best friend, making one piece at a time for her birthday and christmas presents. I'm currently working on making the thigh armor for christmas and then I'll hopefully have time to make the arm bracers before I leave in March to study abroad. Then they have to just sit in my closet until we get back (she left early for study abroad and won't be back until September). I've been planning how I want everything to be and I hoping that I'll be able to make the thigh armor with some hidden elastic so it'll stretch and then glue it to some dance tights so we won't have to worry about it falling down. Halloween is over now, sadly. Our costumes all came together on time even though we neglected to get good pictures before going out so my makeup is all smudged in the pictures I have. Oogie Boogie finished drying as we were walking out the door. We're trying to locate any pictures of ourselves other people may have taken but all we've found so far is a video. I've never been hugged so many times in my life so we must be able to find them somewhere! I'll post pictures soon, but I'm already brainstorming what I want to be next year. I'm not doing body paint this year, for real this time! I'm leaning towards Reptar which is what I wanted to do

I'm gearing up for halloween, working on everyone's costumes almost every day now. Oogie Boogie is going to be the best by far, since my Sally is made out of t-shirts to keep costs down (college and all that). I'm not also painting myself for Sally this year simply because of how much hassle I went through with Maleficent last halloween. I'll make a legit Sally and paint myself once I find the right blue in a liquid makeup (pancake makeup is my arch nemesis), which didn't happen this year so yeah, no body paint. Oogie's head and feet are completely done and I'm hoping to knock out putting the body base together this weekend, and maybe paint
